Yes, this is a common question when someone needs to create a web site. The problem is this: a web site is born when you register a domain with the name you want.
For this to happen you have to buy a domain, either on a registrar (Name.com, Dynadot or other) or directly to a domainer (a person that buy and sell domains, sometimes with a portfolio of thousands of names). If you have a domain in mind: example if your business or work are related with fashion and you need a fashion domain, something like creativefashion or cheapfashion, you have to search who is the owner of this name.

Well, we are the owners of these two names (you can see these domains into our web site at http://www.domainsinternational.net) or go directly to the fashion page at http://www.domainsinternational.net/fashiondomains.html) but you can choose any other domaining source, not necessary in our web site but with other domainers. The process is very simple: you choose a different name (not creativefashion or cheapfashion) and search for it doing a “whois” search (there are various web sites that help you on that).

We don´t need a professional broker or even a brokerage service. We just need a professional domainer that could take care of sales of our domains (listing it on newsletters or emails) that may assure a regular contact with potential buyers (end users or another domainers). We share 50 per cent per sale obtained and our prices are very reasonable (since $50 to 15k). Some of our domais are evaluated more than 80k and mostly 5k or less. Our reply it was (later i added some amendments):
“yes, good points indeed. I agree that WhyPark is one of the choices in the parking matter. I tried newest and was frustrated. WhyPark allows you (if you pay just around $10 montly), a complete full control of your domain, choosing their advertising sponsors or your own. They have only a custom page you can build and change completely your domain html, layout and design.
In the meanwhile i frankly do not think they will keep the same way and as the others they will finally disable some of the advantages and people you will go out there as myself.
The future of domains are in the faculty of domainers interact directly with end users through real social networks, where people are really comunicating each other (linkedin, facebook and maybe some more, not Twitter except Twibes groups).”

Since yesterday we are compromised with ShareASale and with more a dozen of merchants (like Viator, USA4Ink and many others). This is a way to substitute some PPC web sites by PPA web sites (Pay per Action or Sale) as PPC is falling down and the sites that still use it tend to reduce the earnings obtained by valid clicks. Recently AdSense decided to disable our account and got the earnings we already had, a “huge” amount of around $40. For this amount they interrupted a cooperation with an account with years of existence and with millions of impressions on more than 200 domains we managed. Maybe they were right on a few of cases as we had some hijackers that used the usual strategy for using our ip and clicked over some links but for $40 monthly is it a genious way disabling an account with more than 5 years of existence?
Well this just forced us to focus in some advices from domain experts that more recently opted for other sources (like PPA) of getting earnings for their active domains. Now we are affiliated with several PPA directories like Commission Juncion, Amazon, Avangate and now ShareASale.
